AMERICAN BULLY -
EXOTIC

The exotic is a very recent breed of American Bully, and when compared to other Bull types, they tend to exhibit more pronounced features such as bigger head, shorter muzzle and wider chest. Because it is such a new breed, there are still many opinions about what makes the ideal Exotic, but we do know that it contains the core temperament of most Bully breeds and is becoming more popular and sought after.

Head and skull

The Exotic has a noticeably large head in proportion to the rest of the body, the skull is very broad, short and square.

Eyes

Wide apart and oval shaped, they come in a large variety of colours.

Ears

Rose shaped, often high set and of average size.

Nose

Flat with wide nostrils and in a range of colours.

Muzzle

Moderately wrinkled, wide, deep and short.

Legs

Well-muscled and straight forelegs, visibly large round bone structure, also noticeably wide set apart from each other.

Chest

Noticeably broad chest.

Neck

Due to the large heads, the dog should have a strong, wide and thick neck in order to support it.

Coat

Slightly glossy in appearance, short and stiff. Colours include tricolour, black, white and chocolate. All colours are excepted.

Size

Adult males height should be 23 to 35 cm,  (9 - 14 inches). Adult females height should be 29 to 33 cm tall, (11 - 13 inches).

There is no particular weight for the Exotic Bully but should be in proportion to the dog.

All Exotic Bully (males and females) will be categorized in 2 classes.

MICRO Exotics for any dogs that are 13 inches or smaller and Exotics for anything taller.

All Exotics will compete in the same class till 12 months of age, then branch off into their correct variety dependant of height.
