Experience:

I have had pedigreed dog practically my entire life. Started breeding Pitbulls in 1983 and to the present time with American Bully. Started judging in 2003 and officially became Director of Judges for the ABKC in 2004. I was also Director of Judges for BRC Global. Presently international freelance judge for many registries.

About Ron:

I’m the son of Gregory & Mary Ramos, my father was a Mexican immigrant as well as my mother’s parents. Raised in a small town in California and I still live in the same town. Married to the same amazing woman for 49 years. Raised 4 children - 1 daughter and 3 sons. I coached American Football and Baseball for many years. I worked as a maintenance tech for 25 years. My hobby is breeding American Bullys.

Throughout the years I’ve seen a lot of development in the breed, but I feel breeding needs to be more consistent. Which is why I love being a judge so I can see the best of this beautiful breed.

I have been closely involved with many EBKC shows. I have also judged for the IBKC and numerous fun shows. 

​

I am always open to share my knowledge and stories about dogs and I will always try to help if people have any questions.

Shows Involved With:

To many to mention across the globe. To mention a few I have judged 3 or 4 ABKC National shows with up to 335 dogs in one day. I also have judged 1 BRC Global Nationals. Many prestigious shows across the globe in many countries. In short I have judged Bully shows in over 20 different countries and counting.
